You are absolutely right- furthermore, I have been talking ( as well as writing) about the need for new ideas and outlooks for years now. Yes, we do need a new system which is not capitalism, socialism, communism or any of the things we have seen until now-

It is just that, in order to this- people have to be able to do much more than simply change “the idea” — in their head… What you ( we) are talking about is people having both the courage and the intellect needed to simply forget everything that they have been taught up to this point, as well as forget everything they believe they know about themselves and who they are….

do not forget- a lot of our political identities and preferences o not stem from a careful weigh-in of various options , but from our surroundings and the things we have been exposed to from day one… Just like you can not really expect someone who was born nd raised by a typical bible-belt HC christian family to be anything but a conservative supporter, there is a little chance that a person who was adopted and raised by a same-sex couple in the village to be anything else but liberal…

So, for mos people, what we are talking about, leaving the old behind and coming up with something new, also means leaving their old selves behind and finding a new person within… And that is much easier said than done.

Very few people have the strength, or the will to do that- most individuals on the planet are, in fact, content with the social programing they have and are absolutely convinced that theirs is the best way there is- Be it communism, democracy, religious beliefs, even attitudes towards sex- whatever has been programmed- it is generally so deeply ingrained that people’s entire ego’s are created around “the principle” they believe to be the best in existence…

And the worst part of the equation is that, the humanity does need this giant, seizmic, shift- otherwise we will end up regressing- not moving forward. But… how do you make the ones who are blind by choice ( and who are perfectly comfortable in their darkness) want to open their eyes and destroy both the comfort, and the existing idea they have about who/what they are???
