Yes there is, as well as there is a problem with observing things in the 4th, 5th…9th dimension…

Look, I understand the difficulties very well, as well as I know that a whole bunch of discoveries happened because , even if we weren't able to observe something, we knew it was there because of the calculations. and I am not propagating simply getting rid of all the calculations and go back to staring at celestial objects in order to understand how they move. I can not even imagine how would that function..

But, it seems to me that we have reached the limits ( or have gotten close to them) of what we can learn with our current understanding of the Universe and the ways we are trying to expand it ( our understanding of it, not the Universe itself) —

After all the promises ( and boy did it look promising 20 years ago) the string theory is ending up as a waste of time and resources, and so are a few other ideas which we had so much hope for… We need a fresh set of minds who will not be confined by the current trends and ideas.
