This will not be a long post. All I want to saz is that Trump will figure out how to benefit from these protests. he’s already making ANTIFA a terrorist organization and soon- he will find a way to put other organizations ( pro-democratic, or pro-leftist) into the same basket- thus, taking advantage of the already horrible situation in order to improve his position and weaken his opponents
Although the protests have nothing to do with the divide between Democrats and Republicans Trump will paint them as some sort of a “leftist” creation which has to be stopped for the good of the nation.
every rock which is thrown towards the police, every house that is burned, and every vehicle that is destroyed will help him further. I am quite positive that, somewhere in his head, Trump is wishing for these explosions of anger to continue- even escalate- If things get bad enough he might even have a chance to declare a state of emergency all over the US- thus putting full executive power in his hands.
