OK… I am exaggerating for effect, but I believe ( at least I hope) I am getting my point across…

Of course that we can not leave out calculations completely… they have been the bases of everything since we started figuring out that we need to figure things out…

But there seems to be an-over reliance on calculations, computer models and machine learning which, despite some advantages has many downsides..And I am getti8ng the feeling that, unless someone figures out something that we have been missing until now, pretty soon things will start stagnating again.
