In more than one way, this avatar ( which was an accident) does actually say a couple of things…. Although I never thought of it as reminiscent of the beauty and the beast movie… But, that is a good thing to know.
My hair ( and at times my beard) does look slightly as the avatars … plus, my name is Luan ( which is an Albanian word for a Lion)
Now, I am going to skip the details I posted in the reply given to Adelaide's comments, my hair color was explained there, as well as a couple of more details… Although, you said “statistically” i should have dark hair — according to which statistics???
“looking rough but not being like that once people get to know you”… I do not know about identifying with the idea… But, you might be on to something here. even at 41 ( well, 42 in 3 days) — I still go for jeans, t-shirts, leather jackets.. you get the idea — A funny fact is that I was really happy the other day when I suddenly discovered that a shop close to where I live brought a few pairs of Levi’S 501 jeans .. that should give you an idea about my tastes.. But, it is not even about taste- I simply feel more comfortable like this….
Now….
You are absolutely right about people having a tendency to idealize the ones they follow ( read, listen to….) — when, in fact, even the most creative and genius people , are, generally, quite average looking… which is a good thing.
And, the experiment went well, thank you…it confirmed some of my suspicions
but It was not only about the subject at hand. There was another point to it:
I have noticed a while ago that, for some reason, if I publish a story on it's own, it gets 5, maybe 10 reads. Yet, whenever I post a reply to another post, the replies are read by dozens, sometimes hundreds of people. So, I thought I should throw this one out there and, by getting people involved in the text, I will get a clearer picture o how well read are the “stand alone” stories when compared to replies…:)
