As for the suggestion.. well, back in the days when I was dealing with that, I did some music for documentaries ( as well as film), and I honestly think you should look into it for this, or ( probably) other compositions. If your other work is similar ( in it’s approach) then you definitely have something here…

now all you need is a director with a good ear ( not so easy to find :)))
