I know I might have mentioned him a bit often here but…. In case you haven’t read “the songs of distant earth” by A.C Clarke- I highly recommend it. It deals exactly with this issue…. And it does give , sor of, a solion: all that needs to be done is for humans to forget everything they know about our species, our history, and everything ugly and evil in it- for simply the memory of these things, might “inspire” someone to act.

One thing is undisputed — — For humanity to change the way it functions, it will take a lot of time, probably generations…. And a whole lot of joint will which, I personally, doubt that the species has.
