Exactly….but, from what I have seen repeatedly through the years…. At 20, 25…. A lot of them keep thinking they can “do better “. And, by the time they figure out they can’t ( mainly around 35, 40) …. The “good guy" train has sailed since that guy has moved on….
( I had several similar experiences myself . Women I haven’t heard from for over a decade popping out of nowhere with “… I made a mistake” line…. NO honey, it wasn’t a mistake! Not after all this time. It was you thinking that you can bag someone better. And after going around the block a few times and figuring out there is no “better" for you anymore, you thought “OK, there was someone who might still buy what I’m selling “)
That way of thinking “I can find a better one"- replacing emotions with calculations- has hurt a lot of good women- some things just can not , and should not, be calculated.
