ever since I was a kid I kept hearing my father say that Hobie are one’s real profession while whatever it is that we do as our daily jobs- are just things we do to put food on the table. his logic on the case is simple- one changes jobs through the lifetime- often working in different fields… but, a hobby ( whatever it is) is something you will keep doing for a long time — sometimes taking a break, but always coming back to it — and you keep doing it , not because it is what you get paid for- but because you love it- And I tend to agree with him on this subject- I have changed a lot of jobs, did all sorts of things… yet the few things I did as hobbies, are the ones I still keep doing whenever I get a chance.

So, never say “it’s just a hobby”….

Now… when it comes to “the wall” …

I generally tend not to interfere with people’s writing, for it might have unintended consequences, ( it has been drilled into me in university) , but , what I can say ( besides the fact that I liked the entire thing- and loved the idea of playing out an undead story through the referencing of what is happening at the US-mexican border nowadays) is that there are a couple of things left “hanging”… for example, you mention the US side of the border, you speak of the mexican patrols… so, if there are patrols on both sides… where are the corpses coming from??? As for the grammar…. yeah, that can do with some improvements

another thing is that ( now this is a question of personal taste) you tend to concentrate too much on getting your point ( political views) across- it works well at some places, at others, it takes away from the story itself….

anyways, I don’t want to bother you with long analyses, but, if you’re interested, I might do a full break-down of the story as soon as I get a bit of time…
