One thing though… and I am not talking to you directly, I am making a general comment, people seem to be giving too much importance, and too much “credit” to the Incel bunch. You say : “ the mass murders committed by “incels”…. there are no mass “Murders” ( plural) committed by them. There was one, very public and very loud incident but that is it. Overall, they seem to be present on the web, but that they are , overall, utterly ignorable in real-life, and we should stop doing exactly what they want and talking about them. OR believing that they are anything more than a bunch of sad loosers who have found each-other on the internet and are now pretending to be a real community.
Issues like these are only as big as we make them to be, and groups like that have only as much power as the public gives them so the best thing to do ( and the worst thing they can imagine happening) is to simply pay absolutely no attention to them- after a while they will quiet down a disappear, or maybe even get laid and realize how stupid their entire setup is… ( I think only the flat-earthers beat the incels in stupidity of their cause)
Now,m you may be right about the “bonding” thing , now that you mentioned it, I remember the reports about the “wolf pack” actually planning to rape “As many women as possible” ( IF I remember it right) during their holidays… Now that the reports are coming back in my mind, in their conversations prior to leaving for pamplona, they didn’t even talk, or use the word, “sex”, “group sex”, “gang bang”- or whichever would be the appropriate expression of that action. Instead they spoke only of Rape as such… Their idea of having a good time with friends included a bunch of guys violently excersizing their power and libido upon a random woman. So, without the need to dwell deeper into the subject, it does seem that , in this case, rape was supposed to be not only a bonding experience, but the centerpiece of the relationship they built among themselves….
And, to make the entire thing even more disgusting, ( again) if I remember it right, they even used social networks to make calls for other men to do what they did. Meaning go out and gang-rape as many women as they can. Which, even if it wasn't for the video and other evidence, should have made the judges pronounce these guys guilty
I never really spent too much time thinking about what makes these idiots tick. ( and I suppose this is the “sin” of most men when it comes to this issue, the ones who do not fall under the “rapist” category, simply do not think about the issue at all) but these conversations made me run a few things through my head ( so, thank you…)
I have a really weird way of thinking and my associations sometimes work in a funny manner, but I just remembered a scene from Stephen Kings “Bag of Bones”, which , I suppose, summarizes what we talked about…
It is the scene where Sara Laughs is raped and killed… the entire incident starts off because of someones hurt ego ( Not because of his desire, per Se) and gets combined with the idea of race and, up to a point class. Without wanting to get too ugly in my descriptions ( whomever wants to can read the book) … during the rape scene, it is obvious that Sara Laughs, would have been raped, but left alive. It was the moment she starts making fun of one of the rapists for not being able to “get it up” , that she signed her death sentence..
I guess I thought of the scene right now because, at the end of the day, ( when talking about the subject in this context) sexual desire is not the main fuel driving these characters. The rapists seem to be fueled by the need to prove their masculinity, power, maybe even their worth to themselves or the world. so, the men who have no need, or desire, to “prove” anything ( that they are great lovers, “real” men, that they have a functioning dick, that they can over-power a woman…) to anyone , do have a difficult time understanding how these characters function, and what drives them…

So, we concluded that, again, it is all the fault of you guys- the women… if only all the women in the world would simply spread their legs for every man that feels like getting laid whenever wherever and however they ask for it…. there would be no need for rape, thus there would be no rapists…. You see- it is all the women's fault….
